上野树里在结束大河剧拍摄后，为“テレビ東京”电视台拍摄纪录片，探寻日本樱花的起源。途经尼泊尔-喜马拉雅、中国云南省、冲绳、地震灾区岩手等地，历时半年，行程5400公里，体验各地风土人情，感悟樱花与人的羁绊。。在海边一所终日窗帘紧闭的隐秘房子里，一个隐居于此的剧作家终日与他的狗为伴。而这样的宁静突然在一个夜晚被一个逃到此处的年轻女子所打破。她想在此避难，不愿离开。然而黎明降至，另一不期而至的事情改变了一切。。Centaurworld follows a warhorse who is transported from her embattled world to a strange land inhabited by silly, singing centaurs of all species, shapes, and sizes. Desperate to return home, she befriends a group of these magical creatures and embarks on a journey that will test her more than any battle she's ever faced before.。
