该剧根据1942年真实发生的“文化名人大营救”事件改编而成，包括茅盾、夏衍、 邹韬奋、丁聪等在内的800多名中国当时最著名的文化界人士，在数个省市的抗日队伍的帮助下，奇迹般躲避了日军搜捕，这场大营救行动被茅盾褒扬为——“抗战以来最伟大的抢救工作。”因为据说，如果这场营救行动不成功，整个中国的文学史和艺术史都将被改写。。A group of young pilots in a remote region of the Canadian wilderness begin to hear strange reports over their radios about planes crashing, cars stalling and a deadly plague which has gripped the planet. It becomes clear that earth is in the midst of an invasion. The group of pilots decide to barracade themselves in a cabin deep in the woods and wait for their impending doom.。
