故事以两个主人公的约定而展开，讲述了虽然很贫穷却过得很幸福的少年“下町心”在唯一的亲人母亲过世后，落入了不幸的深渊。一位名叫“高城一希”的少年，也同样失去了姐姐。两个失去亲人的少年与一位能看见精灵的少女“有星多江”，以及“须大叔”、“猫又”、“河童”、“座敷童子”等善良可爱的精灵妖怪，一起踏上了寻找亲人的冒险之路，小伙伴们温暖感人的友情故事也就此展开。即使山川异域，跨越时空，这份友情也决不能忘记！。While transporting an important package, a young woman is involved in a car accident in the middle of nowhere leaving her trapped under the car. She slowly starts to realise that not only are some very bad men tracking her down wanting to retrieve the item she is transporting but something very dangerous is hunting her from deep within the woods.。
