In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。嫉恶如仇，不畏强权的警察李铁坚从元朗调到尖沙嘴做组长的第一天早上就在路上遇到了一起斗殴抢劫案件，他一个人制服三个混混。李铁坚的妹妹彤彤从美国回到香港，高兴的与哥哥相见，彤彤的男朋友是加州大学的博士，他的父亲是当地有名的有势力的人,与彤彤在迪斯科舞厅跳舞，被李铁坚一组看到，李铁坚护妹心切，派手下摸的底，却没想到被父亲的手下一顿胖揍。于是，混乱的局面形成了.....。撒丁岛的一个小村庄里，90年代的讽刺节目《Avanzi》的演员们十五年后再次相聚，为了支持当地的渔民重新制作场演出。卡利亚里剧院挤满了观众，疑问在悲喜交替的情绪中不断地出现，演员和观众的角色发生了混淆。。
