汉（徐锦江 饰）、希、官、Bonnie（苑琼丹 饰）是四个银行劫匪。他们劫持了一辆运钞车，汉与希阻断追捕的警察，官和Bonnie在逃亡中遭遇小警察家辉（郭富城 饰），官不慎跌下机车，被家辉捉住。得知同伙落网，冷血的汉冲入警署，在众目睽睽之下枪杀官以灭口。 由于情节严重，警署将家辉和女警员珊调入重案组协助调查。二人与冤家对头的两位警探刘（刘青云 饰）和马合作，先从押运员入手，顺藤摸瓜至某卡拉OK厅。家辉与纯情女歌手敏（袁洁莹 饰）坠入情网。不久，更从敏处得知运钞车劫匪的线索……。Framing StoryDr Martin (Robert Powell) arrives at a secluded asylum "for the incurably insane" to be interviewed for a job by the wheelchair-using, authoritarian Dr Lionel Rutherford (Patrick Magee). Rutherford explains that he owes his current incapacitation to an attack by an inmate. Rutherford reveals his unorthodox plan to determine Martin's suitability for the post of head...。
