Six month after the first season concluded, the Russian occupation still holds Norway in a firm grip. In the first episode of the second season we follow the steps to form an exile government, and the negotiations with EU and Russia in the wake of a military confrontation at a gas plant。《Beast Machines: Transformers》延续了前作《Beast Wars》的故事。Maximals在击败Predacons后返回Cybertron，却发现家园被Megatron统治，所有居民的火种（sparks）都被囚禁。Optimus Primal、Cheetor、Blackarachnia和Rattrap被迫变回兽形态，并失去了大部分记忆。他们在地下发现了Oracle超级计算机，获得了新的科技有机体形态。Maximals必须解放被囚禁的火种，揭开同伴Silverbolt和Rhinox的命运，并恢复Cybertron的有机生命。。
